What an amazing product! I just installed them yesterday and I do feel a big difference on the rear suspension.

removing the rivets was way easier than I thought, it took me like 15 mins to remove the rivets on both sides once they were flush with the chassis and the stock hangers removed. A good quality drill bit and cutting oil helped a lot!

My review of the Hammer Hangers with stock leaf springs:

I installed the hammer hangers with Eibach Pro-kit rear shocks, stock leaf springs, 1.3125" rear lift block and P rated 285/70R17 tires. I will note that I installed the Eibach rear shocks first and drove around with just that modification for three weeks to compare them to stock TRD sport shocks. Just changing to the Eibach rear shocks resulted in no noticable ride difference over the stock TRD sport shocks.

My primary goal with purchasing the Hammer Hangers was to smooth out the harsh ride in the back of my stock TRD Sport 4x4 when going over small to moderate imperfections in pavement at speed. After the install, I can definitely say the Hammer Hangers addressed my goal. To provide some context to my opinion, assume you drive over an expansion joint in the road at 30mph. Assume further that the pavement on the other side of the expansion joint is one-half inch higher than the road before the expansion joint. On a scale of 1-10 (1 being no noticable bump and 10 being jarring that causes your teeth to rattle), I would say jarring from the the stock rear TRD sport suspension is about a 8-8.5 and the jarring with the Hammer Hangers installed dropped to a 4 or 5 (or what you would normally expect by hitting that type of bump in a truck). While some of the improvement may have come from the increased sidewall height of the new tires, I attribute most of the improvement to the Hammer Hangers. Bottom line, I am pleased with upgrade.

That is an extremely specific height lift block.

Thanks Jay for the review, and explanation of benefits. I am in agreement that stock hangers make the ride suck pretty bad, approaching '10' teeth rattling.
I think if you were to add the cross tube, that might get you into the '3' range, then invest in well tuned shocks, even a Fox 2.0 remote reservoir tuned by AccuTune offroad, it would get you in the '2' range. It is a truck with open channel frame, it's not likely to get to uni-body RX-350 ride quality.

if ride quality is the target, i agree that the crosstube with high end shocks will get you there. adding the crosstube after upgrading everything else still got me a hugely noticeable improvement with ride quality.

Thanks bro. I am running stage 2. I haven’t taken it off pavement yet, but I can already tell the rear end is more responsive over bumps.

First, Archive has offered a cross tube from the very first batch of Hammer hangers 3 years ago in November 2017. And it has been very good, NOT 1 SINGLE COMPLAINT about hitting it or bending with maybe 250+ cross tubes sold.

There is solid engineering principles behind the straight tube, its the perfect shape for being in tension, keeping the frame rails from being splayed out (flexing of stock cross member) and also for resisting torsion from 1 frame rail to the other. It also isn't as low as some think.

New Archive High clearance cross tube installed and tested on my Tacoma.
Highest clearance cross tube on the market, which compliments the highest clearance hangers. It also connects to the stock cross member with included angle bracket, 100% bolt-on, no drilling.

Did A-B-A-B testing vs the original Archive straight tube, the High clearance was equal to the straight tube in ride quality. (So the straight was good)

Guaranteed to fit without issue and have full warranty support for entire Hh kit.
    https://archivegarage.com/explore-archive/ols/products/tacoma-hi-clearance-cross-tube

ANYONE WHO HAS AN ORDER IN FOR A CROSS TUBE CAN CHOOSE TO UPGRADE TO THE HIGH CLEARANCE AT NO CHARGE
(many of you'll get HC for Nov sale cost)

Contact us to let us know your choice, or wait for us to email/call you.
Cutting parts now for 40 HC tubes

Can I get a hell yeah up in here?
