Probably more believable if I left it as 2022.

I don’t even know what a tacomabeast is. Ordered from the preorder website somewhere in this thread (KTJO4x4)

In June. It was about other CS issues and vendor status.

Looks like mine hit the post office this afternoon. Hopefully it’s got the correct bolt covers and USPS does their job getting it to me in a timely fashion. Neither of which I have much faith in at this moment.

    I’m glad you got yours.

I’m not sure what she could do to “make it right” right now except change her reality and go off the f**king list, which was so nicely organized inception-to-date. And toss in a limited-run 3D printed Tacoma keychain. And add a handwritten note apologizing for sucking so hard and asking me to give her a one-star review. That’s what it looks like from my view here in Illyria.

Just wait until you have to roll the dice hammering the upper clip to fit. I think that is the route I'm going probably rendering the handle just for pretty.

True, but we have seen her business practices play out here.

To be fair, I purchased her 400w anytime plug and play mod without issue. I think she means well, but took on more than she could handle with this project.

But, we have. Didn't you get the email right after the ban?

You're right. The truth is usually in the middle somewhere.

Still IMHO, if it was my $50k-ish on the line and my customer base was cut off, there's things that I would have done differently.

Of course, this year has an X factor in all of it.

The thing she forgot to do while getting everyone pumped about them arriving from China and then getting to her was temper expectations about delivery times. Adding to that is the random process of shipping out orders with a seemingly odd prioritization of new orders which makes the long term, loyal, customers feel insignificant. I thought last week the hold up for me installing this would be receiving my MESO puddle pods, so that I could connect the harness and run wires at the same time, but my puddle pods arrived without the extensions that run to the mirrors. I contacted MESO and they were sent out and I received them today. Still this hasn’t arrived yet and I have no expectations that it will arrive soon.

UPDATE: Shipments are starting to go out for individuals. When you receive your package, if you can do me a favor and double check your bolt cover to make sure you have one of each side that would be greatly appreciated. Some bags after being notified and going through each one of them now, I have found to have some of the same sides in the same bag. If you happen to be one of those customers that get two of the same side, please email exchange@ktjo4x4.com. I will get you out the other side ASAP and a return label. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience to this first group.

UPDATE: PayPal Customers get ready to receive your confirmation email today. Going to try to get all labels printed today for all Grab Handle orders. That means it will be roughly 700+ labels. Please stay patient with me as it is not just one or two labels I am having to print. Remember, this was an order of 1000 and I am already having to place another order with my vendor. My plan is to get these out to each of you as quickly as possible.

All Grab Handles from now on will be sent out like this with the Covers already attached. However, for the first group, you have the videos that I have attached and I will be creating an install video tomorrow to show everyone from start to finish. It will be uploaded on the website for everyone.

Oh, didn't know there was an email. I wasn't a customer at the time though. Nice to know her side got out.

I'm indifferent I suppose, giving this buy a fair chance.

My informed delivery updated this preshipment to accepted and estimated 12/31 delivery. Would be nice to install for the 4 day weekend.

the bolts not lining up sounds all to similar (for me) to mountain hatch. @tonered what did you do- install at angle or bend bracket? Any plans/ideas to address it (only ask cause didn’t you come up with the original concept of contoured seat risers?) so what’s your brain spinning… any thing to beef it up. Any way to fill the space with solid material/aluminum and have the bolt pass/thread through both. Anything besides actually welding a third leg for support

Your email and the posts from the IG page about having to place another order with her supplier got me wondering - placed my order yesterday. I went back and looked at confirmation email and the item is listed as "3rd Gen Tacoma Pre-Order Driver's Side Grab Handle w/A-Pillar." I wonder if I just financed the next order?

Not wanting to yield the metal, I left it at an angle to start. But, I noticed a tapering gap were the trim meets the headliner and a gap at the door seal. I'm probably going to bend it like @58electricman did. Not happy in the least about that.

Yeah. The shaped spacer concept was mind, but @7r41lbr34k3r made it a reality.

We were kicking around ideas last week for the lower clip give that the left side clips only have two legs and the right ones have three and that the I wasn't excited about the assumed hardware kit. I think I am okay with the included nutplate.

I don't think there is a way to reinforce either without drilling or welding. Neither are good ideas in that area, IMHO.

I'm starting to think this might be more show than go? I won't know that for a while though.

Hard to know for sure but I think your order is good for this batch. She will eventually have to place another order once the original 1000 units are sold. However, at the present time there is only one list she is working from: the pre-order list. Whether you ordered a year ago or yesterday you are part of the pre-order list and fulfillment is in no particular order. Ktjo sees every customer as having “pre-ordered” a handle, not taking into account when the order was placed. :rasta:

Although we’ve seen what we would call “new orders” getting filled ahead of older pre-orders and are trying to understand why, ktjo sees every order as a pre-order - and all pre-orders are equal in her sight - just her way of looking at the situation. Right now she’s overwhelmed with the effort required to fill 1000 “pre-orders” and it’s taking more time to get it all shipped out than she bargained for.

It turns out she is not ignoring us long term investors (although it looks that way) she just has her own way of doing things and we don’t like it. We will all eventually receive what we ordered but in her time, not what we think it should be. :santa2:
