Howdy, got a 04' base automatic trans model. I want this thing to LAST. What should I keep an eye out for? My big issue has been accessory fuse box near driver foot wheel was corroded and replaced. I had an issue with headlights not turning off but a new battery, terminals, and messin' with rubber door jamb covers and sealing engine bay from cabin and that is fixed. However, it has started to loudly click when I take my foot off the brake when it is in park, even when emergeny brake is engaged. Also I need to smack dash and side of gear shift for my Tach light and gear shifter lights to turn on. Any suggestions?

I will be updating with frame pics of this supposedly "garage kept" 04' as of 2020. It has not had any frame treatments from factory, so hopefully this can give an idea to new buyers of what is standard for buying a tacoma in the midwest that has had a little extra care. Since it is not a 4WD and not offroaded it can be a decent guide for what is expected I think. Not completely corroded but not perfect.

Should I start a new thread with the frame condition or run it on here, trying to find the ropes on thread posting?
