Just purchased an Ironman4x4 Foam cell stage 2 kit for my 2014 4x4 DCSB and I'm looking at purchasing my first set of big boy tires but I'm not really what is going to best fit my needs. Trying to get something practical yet very capable and of course aggressive looking. I really want to make sure I can match the tire size to the lift height (should be roughly 2.5" front, 2" rear).

I'm going to be doing 90% on-road driving and about 10% off-road use and they will see some dirt roads and snow. Won't be towing much, or have any extra weight/armor. I already have my wheels narrowed down to either 17" method nv 305 wheels OR 17" SCS f5 wheels with -10 offset. After doing a little research I think I want to run falken wildpeak atw3's (am also looking at K02's) but I'm still just not sure the size/load that would fit my needs. I don't want to have to do the cab mount chop and would like to keep similar MPG's and enough power to not have to re-gear. From what I understand I can run 33's without having to do the cab mount chop, re-gear, and lose too many MPG's, but I'm not really sure what load rating or size to look at. I know most tires come in a 4/6/10 ply option but I'm not sure what the options the wildpeak's offer and what might be recommended for my needs.

Any suggestions on where to start? Thanks!

As for size. with the correct alignment you could run a 285/70/17. If you want a smidge more room could also go 275/70/17.

I was thinking with the methods I could run 275/70/17 without any cmc issues I’m just not sure if I can get the wildpeaks in a 6 ply for that size. I would like to stay away from cmc and going too big in tire size.
