~250 miles before that little light o' mine shines. I suspect my larger-than-stock tires rotate less than the old computer expects clocking in less miles. My speedo seems accurate though.

I get around 35 MPG with a 2 WD Access Cab and the 2.7 engine with a 5 speed manual trans. The last tank with all round driving went 835 KMs but remember in Canada we have the Imperial gallon which is about 4.5 US quarts. I think the US gallon is 4 quarts. I shift around 2500 RPM's and regularly drive 401 highway at 120 KPH which is around 70 MPH, and it revs about 2500 rpm or a little less with no problems. I never downshift going up hills or put the pedal to the floor - it seems to have lots of torgue. I am impressed with the MPG I am getting - it actually gets better mileage than the 2WD 2006 Kia Sportage that we traded in for. I wish Toyota would still make the 2.7 with the 5 speed manual. I talked to someone else who had an older version of my truck and he gets great mileage as well so I think it is common for these 4 cylinders with the stick shift to get good gas mileage The only thing I notice is that it has to go very slow to put in 1st gear, so I usually go around corners in 2nd which is quite higher gear ratio but it doesn't bother the truck if it lugs down especially if I go around a little faster. This is the only vehicle I have owned that gets better mileage than advertised - most of my other vehicles did not come close to the advertised mileage

2nd gen. 2006 PreRunner 4x2 AC V6 auto. I get about 200 something miles, I am too nervous to ever let it get till the light comes on. According to the Fuelio app for Android, I am getting about 17.303/MPG.

You have ~4 gallons still in the tank, when the light comes on... don't worry!

I usually fill up around 1/4 tank, rarely got lower. That gives me a range of 280-300 miles or so. When I was calculating my mileage it usually came to around 17.5-18.0

Think I've driven about 30 miles after the low fuel light came on, and didn't want to risk driving any further.

Not sure about total miles, but I've gone over 400 several times. These days I try to refuel anytime I'm approaching half a tank.
