Bought 1987 Toyota 4X4 Black SR5 PU loaded including sunroof new, driven Toyota products since. Toyota pickups owned in the past also include 1983 4X, 1988 4X, 1993 4X, 1998 4X, 2001 Tundra 4X Limited, 2002 4X extra cab, and just bought Frosty, 2003 PR DC V6 auto TRD towing power packages, factory leather that looks amazing for it's age 135K. Also owned a handful of 4WD 4 Runners, 96, 01, 07, and current 15 Trail Deluxe. Been looking for another Gen 1 for a while and bought Frosty sight unseen from a dealer. Sold new in TX, owned by three TX owners, smogged in TX yearly, previously sold by Toyota Dealer as a Certified, lots of pics looked ok, so took a leap of faith and wire transferred the money. First time I have ever bought a vehicle sight unseen, no warranty, a bit of a leap of faith. Didn't sleep well a couple days. Arrived last Saturday after dark, frame is really clean for a truck this old, exhaust clean, starts and runs out pretty good, got lucky. Dealer put on new timing belt, plugs, oil change, air filter, struts, valve cover gaskets, wipers, with empty boxes of new parts left in truck. Couple hail dings, couple small scratches. Shifted fine but had transmission serviced because the fluid looked more like used motor oil than hydraulic fluid. New battery bracket today from dealer as the old one had corroded through on one side. Brakes work well, PW, PDL, PW all work. 135K, $11K, got lucky IMO. Drives small, parks small, feels good to drive a gen 1 again. Couple pics of Frosty the first day in Oklahoma.

@guezroks pic after snow melted and a little TLC. Red impulse pearl reminds me of candy apple red, metal flake really pops in the sun. Stands out from the sea of white, silver, grey, and black.

Long story short. That pic of the snow covered truck is ingrained in my head as a goal. Im from Miami and financially id like to have a vacation home in Colorado with a truck as such. If I have that, its safe to say I am doing Ok.
