    I'm also in need of doing rear brakes soon. I haven't done on the taco yet but have on random Chevy and Fords over years. First thing I learned is the $10 plier brake multi tool thing from part store is worth its weight in gold(UPDATE apparently these don't mean shit on a yota. I stand correct by TW member wisdom). Other than that BY(before YouTube) I was taught that you just take one side off first take pictures and leave the other side together as reference. Now I'm sure there's a lot of videos to follow. I'm west of Marietta not sure if anyone that wants to replace theirs are near by or what but if someone wanted to come here I wouldn't mind helping. Also just got my AAL in woohoo will at least get the pack assembled before mod day.

    I used to be able to disassemble and reassemble drums in under a minute. But that was 25 years ago.

    Yeah... Those brake pliers dont help on these. A stout, needle nose plier did the trick for me. I was disappointed I couldnt use my fancy brake pliers! LOL!

    What were you using the pliers on? The spring?

    The return springs and the spring loaded retaining pins... The pliers didnt help at all.

    They were hella helpful on my Ranger and Expy, tho...

    To echo others, the spring pliers didn’t help me at all when I did mine a few years ago. I ended up using a small set of locking pliers to pull the springs back into place.

    A little of this and a little of that.

    Hi there JB,

    I agree with you, Demello makes great stuff. That’s an awesome bumper.

    A couple of questions;
    For 05-11 Tacoma? I have an ‘11 and a ‘13, so a coin toss for me. :D
    Has the bumper been installed/currently installed?
    Is it here in GA, ATL area?

    Just when I thought I had my Christmas shopping done...:annoyed:

    Thanks!

    What up Scott.

    The bumper was installed on her truck, and has recently been removed.

    The location of the bumper is in Atlanta, and can be brought to me on the south side of ATL near i85/75/i20 connector.

    Her truck is a 2005.
