Well as the kids on the gram do here’s my octothorp frontendfriday. Truck is finally back together after replacing the timing belt and adding some stuff. It’s still a work in progress, it still needs some cleaning up as components find their final homes, and there are more zip ties involved than I like to admit. But it’s a weight off my mind knowing it’s done before I leave.

On the other hand doing all these projects uncovered a lot of things I need to fix when I get back. Most of the hardware holding the truck together is apparently made of dust and/or cross threaded in. That’s if it’s there at all. There’s either some front end damage or the result of a bunch of missing fasteners that’s keeping my @HomerTaco grill from fitting. The wiring for the security/sound systems is appalling (I have to hit the brakes to shut off the truck). And four high stopped working right before I started the timing belt.

I might spend the next couple months deciding if it’s worth it to keep Sinking money into this truck or find a new one and transfer all my mods over.

Also not 100% stoked on the turn signal location. I thought they were going to be a little farther forward and easier to see. Next project will probably be getting the corner lights to flash with the indicators.
