I mean the ranger drives like a base model Ford focus... And the men of this country have gone soft. So I believe the trend lol

I was going to buy a 4Runner at the time, but looking at the extra $10k I took a look at the Tacoma. After thinking about it for a bit I decided a truck would work better for me to haul my bikes. I was always into sports cars, mostly Mustangs, and the last being an MR2 I wanted a more versatile vehicle. I've had it since 2005, and will probably keep it for another year or so until I finish up another degree and start a new career. I bought it in NM, but its spent most of its life in Vermont so it has a bit of rust here and there. Still debating whether or not to spend the money to have it gone through to clean it up, like the passenger side inner fender apron. I'll probably just keep it as is until it dies. Its an '05 TRD Offroad, pretty much stock aside from the bumper, Retrax tonneau cover. I hated automatics at the time so I went with the 6spd manual, which I regret having in traffic...

There are a lot of women around in Florida driving trucks, smaller trucks like the Tacoma to big ass lifted Chevys. I do see more driving Jeeps and 4Runners though. I saw one girl pulling into the VA in a nice-looking lifted Tacoma, I wanted to go talk to her but my roommate was driving like she was half dead like usual so by the time we got to where she parked she was already in the building.

Beside the Taco, I also have a 2017 Cruze, from my experience, the quality is actually not that bad.

It's probably good she has interest in your Thing, even if it is old and compact.

On paper they have nice specs but I think they look like a car with a bed. Ford has gone with this style trend where the sides have large flat surfaces. The taurus, explorer, F series, now the ranger. I can't stand the look.
