The Eastern Sierra Observatory is the place I was thinking about that's got accommodations. Not luxury but still, drive up and there you are.

So the wedge arrived and now I'm sitting here wondering how the fuck I'm gonna get the scope onto the tripod. Getting it out of the box was hard enough It weighs something like 80# or more. I'm gonna need to find someone in my "bubble" to help me

edit: I think I'm going to get a hitch mounted deer hoist. That will allow me to get it into the truck and then I'll build a rolling mount for when it's out of the truck.
