Hey - let first start off by saying yes I searched but couldn’t find a the specific answers I’m looking for.

I have 2009 DCLB TRD Sport, pretty much all pavement as well. I am putting on the 2nd Gen TRD Pro Suspension and am going to be adding the Toytec 1” Coil Spacer( ) My question with this is do you think I will also need New UCA’s or will I be ok?

Next question is for the rear, I don’t want to end up with the “Bro Lean” so should I just do a simple single AAL or should I look into the 3 AAL Progressive from either Icon or Headstrong? Pros / Cons of each? I don’t carry heavy loads and the only weight I will be adding in the future would be a camper shell...

Thanks in advance for your input!!!

No new UCA’s required for that setup especially if you’re staying on pavement.

As for the rear, go with 3 AAL over the single AAL for better ride comfort. They’re progressive

    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
What tire size you going with? If your bumping up in size you might want ucas to help fit the tire with minimal cutting and trimming.

If you can afford it, I’d recommend a full leaf pack replacement with something like the Icon RXT. Because if you’re looking to use the AAL on your existing stock leaf packs, that’s just a bandaid fix as I’m sure yours might be worn out by now.

For visual reference, here’s a side pic of my Baja(precedent to the 2nd Gen Pro, very similar Bilstein setup) with the 1” Toytec spring seat spacer and the Icon RXT leaf pack on Option 1:

Not going to big on the tires, just got the Falken Wildpeak AT3’s in a 265/70/17 about 500 miles ago so I think I’ll be ok there.

I think I’m gonna go with the Progressive 3 AAL, any preference on the Icon vs Headstrong ones?

Thanks for the photo, really like the stance of your rig!!!

If I remember correctly, they’re made by the same manufacturer. So just go with whichever one is cheaper lol!

And I greatly appreciate it man! :fistbump:

Would you recommend taking the overload out with the 3 AAL?

I’d keep it since you’re planning on putting on a topper

Gotcha. I’d still leave it in so that you’re only worrying about it once lol.

I'm using the 1/4 top plate spacer up front (~1/2" lift) and icon 3 aal with overload leaf in the rear and I'd suggest leaving it in as suggested for the extra lift in the rear if you are going with the 1" spacer.

Thanks, do you have a side pic of your rig? I’d like to see how it sits with the 3 AAL W/ overload left in...
