2018 TRD Off Road with stock grill and TSS, where/how to mount the front camera? This is one of the cameras with the threaded vertical mounting shaft.

Have a picture of the camera, both back and side view?

Hey I just did this, my mount is a bit sketchy but I'm working on a better replacement. Here's a shot of my front cam.
I used a natika cam from Amazon and the anytime backup harness switch combo. Love that double throw switch, just wish it had a dinner switch input so it would light up only when dark but I'll take it.
I used an old gift card for now, I need to fan a proper mount but this had held up for a week or so.
I can do a detailed post of you're interested.

I'm installing my camera tomorrow. Same spot as the pic above but it will be slightly angled into that part of the grille. Secured on the otherside using a 65 cent metal fence plate, cut to size, spray-painted with black rubber. The angle I get through this route allows me to see part of the fender and license plate mount. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

I tried mounting my alpine camera here but it interferes with the TSS telling me I have to clean the sensor. Anyone have any other suggestions as to where I should mount it?

Go above the TOYOTA emblem. I wouldve preferred mounting mine higher, but getting around the stock grill TSS wouldve made it stick out a lot.

That alpine camera is really big. I used the natika camera off Amazon and mounted it in the same spot and I have the TSS on the pro grille. No issues.

@BigBeej the camera I have sits in front of the sensor slightly. Do you have a picture of yours that has no issues?
