TRD Cold Air Intake. 5100’s all around, highest setting on front with OEM Springs, 1” lift block on rear, 1” body lift, diff drop, MBRP Dual Exhaust. Light Bar in grill, flush mount pod lights. Hood mounted ditch lights. 8500lb hidden winch. Wheel spacers 285/75/16 MT
New to site but long time reader...Wonder what springs I should get. I have OEM Springs on 5100 at highest setting at the moment. It rides like a truck and that’s what I like but only got 2.5 lift. Would like to get as close to 3” as I can. Have 1” lift block on back so the rake is there. I’ve seen on other posts that aftermarket springs sag after a while. Any feed back would be appreciated. Thanks

You could go with a heavier weight coil spring or buy some adjustable coilovers.

You would also need different upper control arms, for alignment purposes, if your lifting to 3” in the front

I’ve seen on other post people go with OME 887, 888 and found those have sagged over time cause 3rd gen Tacoma’s are 400 pounds heavier then 2nd gen People say OME 886 are not designed for 5100 on 3rd gen Tacoma. A lot of info out there to take in and try to make the right decision.

You could probably run 886 coils with 5100’s but I would assume that the ride quality would be worse. It might be worth a call to headstrong off-road to get their thoughts.
