Not sure if this has been answered before but I am looking at installing a new head unit in my 2009 double cab. Is there anyway to wire it up so the back up camera shows up on the new head unit and not just the rearview mirror? I can’t seem to find a kit that allows this so I’m wondering if anyone has found a way to do so.

My stereo shop said it can't be done. Sub'd in hopes they are wrong.

Your stereo shop is extremely wrong lol. There are several threads on here explaining how to do it

    Long story short
-find a useless RCA cable you have in a box somewhere in the house
-cut one of the ends off, strip back the insulation so you have both wires exposed
-cut the two video wires (connector next to the fuse panel, down to the left of the steering column) and splice on the rca cable
-route rca cable to new radio, plug into camera input
