After taking my 08' Taco to several dealerships, Toyota included it appears the intermittent exhaust rattle I am hearing from the passenger side is likely coming from Bank 1 Manifold and a partially worn out catalytic convertor on that side. I ended up replacing the exhaust pipe from the main catalytic convertor back including the muffler which did not resolve the upper noise issue.

    I am wondering :

a). How common is this issue
b). What is the best replacement scenario given my scenario
c). Should I make it a totally "off road unit" and recode it with a Cat delete? (this could make it background louder than OEM but no rattle though?)
