Merry Christmas to everyone, my auto insurance went up, my internet rate went up, my phone bill went up, not getting any extra service. Can't have fires cuz everything's so dry out here and there's too much leaves and over growth and that sort of thing. So I'm burning off old bank statements in a glass candle jar.

They did finally give us hard numbers on that raise too. I'll be bringing home exactly $0.39 an hour more after taxes. so everybody stay tuned for those big money truck mods

Found this on vacation in south Texas. Talked to the guy who owned it and he was pretty cool. Said he used to have a Land Rover with a RTT but he swapped to this recently. Supposedly it is pretty rare with the 4x4, xtra cab, and 22re turbo on it. It is an 86 with 130k on it. He said he bought it in California and got lucky because a bunch of people were in line after him to buy it

 

Now THAT is an adventure lander!

 

Holy shit the guy told me they only made 25 4x4 sun raiders and only 4 of those were turbos and only one of those was a xtra cab and I thought he was exaggerating a bit but maybe not- this one is a regular cab 4x4 22rte

The one I saw is a dually as well which is really something to me but it might be normal

No kidding for a 34 year old rv with 136 horsepower. That would be fun on the highway haha

 

There's a guy near my work that has one similar, it's not a sun rider but it is that 4th gen dually platform. He definitely uses his though, you can see paint spots that have been repaired, some minor body work in the fender wells where the normal rust shows up etc.

 

did this guy tell you where he was traveling/coming from??
I could swear this rig had been roaming around my neck of the woods within these last couple months

 

He is from California and he is currently in south Texas. Don’t know where he came from or is headed.
