Here I will make you happy.

I love my tacoma, its the best truck in the world. It has never broke down or had a crappy transmission. It has never had many recalls leaving me stuck in rental cars for days. Simply the best. :)

There's informing people, then there's axe grinding. I count at least 6 threads your dumping in, and you've got your own trouble shooting thread. Other people have had the same problem. If someone's looking they're gonna find it. What is your end goal here? Stick around on Toyota forums till the next gen comes out waving people off for a rare issue?

Certainly you have better things to do.

It goes when you want it to. Those low gears will get it moving with or without a load. It doesn't feel like it has to hunt to get power. Might be a small learning curve between driver/transmission ecu.

You took the time to search all my threads and posts then act like you have better things to do.

I had 1300 lbs in the bed of mine some months ago plus towing a cement mixer in my aluminum utility trailer. Kept speeds under 65 mph using oct and s5, still got about 19 mpg.

The following image is from a 2nd gen access cab v6.

For comparison, I added a Honda Civic chart from Car and Driver

Sorry, that wasn't clear. The '93 was a 4cyl. All the rest were 6.
