    Hi Everyone
Signed up just to ask you all a question Dealership price is $17,500. Plus doc fee and taxes would be around 20,000. I went to check it out today did my own inspection, but i dont really know what to look for other than what i've read online.

    So, the good:

Everything electronically works in the cab, ac, heater , temp gague.most of the lights
Engine seems to be in good shape.
    Shocks and suspension seem good
    shifting is smooth,
    revs are smooth

    The bad:

Running lights don’t work and the head lights are cloudy - cheap replace though
    Clutch is squeaky when shifting
Missing the oil cap – will be replaced by dealer
Engine vibration on the shifter when on
Tires are around like 60% tread
Some body damage with a dent in the read bumper which will not be repaired by the dealership
Didnet scan the engine for any previous issues

What do you all think? Should I buy this thing?

20k for 200k miles essentially? What kind of warranty are they giving you, 3 year 100k mile? if there's no warranty, I'd say pass. Especially with the clutch squeak. Could be just the pedal assembly, or much worse.

Did it have the frame replaced? New leaf springs? New inspection sticker? Unless this thing is absolutely perfect and you've got the money to burn, I'd say pass. That's a lot of miles for too much money.

Looks like the engine has been under water, salty water too or near the ocean? Just looks weird like it wasn't taken care of at all. Belt is almost done for too.

If this isn't a Toyota dealer it's an auction truck. I'd say skip it.

Squamish ,Whistler area uses a ton of salt in the winter. Could also have been a shuttle truck for mountain bikers, Tacomas are popular. I would pass.

No way. I just bought a 2012 Regular cab 4wd, 5 sp, 2.7 liter with 78,000 miles (125,000 km) for $13,000 ($16,700 cdn) back in September. Access cab or not, I think that's way too much.
