If you do, get the Camry V6 3.5L, more HP than the Tacoma and same torque.

Have a 2014 Camry and it is a great car. Have two kids, works out great. But yes, not good space for more than driver and 3 passengers.

My grandmother is 93 and drives a 2019 Camry LE 4 cylinder. Leases them for $200 a month and hands them in every 3 years. Works for her. She is on her 4th or 5th one. Never an issue with any of them even though she doesn't drive much. Ironically my grandparents used to drive Buicks before switching to Toyota.

Im going to echo a few others and say Highlander. Its the perfect size for a couple kids and gear. With two kids, and two dogs, we max it out pretty quick but that said we love ours. Drives super nice (way faster than the taco), interior feels pretty high end in ours. and its shares the same V6 as the taco so oil and fluids match up :)

    Now I’m considering something again...

carvana is offering me $1k less then we paid for the Elantra (excluding tax and dealer fee of $379)

If you’re gonna straight trade the Elantra fora Camry, I’d say it’s worth it as long a nothing goes sideways... but honestly, if it’s not a pressing problem I’d not try to fix what ain’t broke.

if you want to get a Highlander like suggested above, then go for it. That’s enough of a difference to make it worth it.

Camrys out she has made clear she wants something higher up looked at some various suvs.

she’s narrowed it down to a Forester or a Frontier quite a difference there.

Saw the Ridgeline somewhere in this thread

I think they would be a great "truck" for a wife...

I like the new Highlander. Not for me, though.

the Highlander is one of the cars the older you go the more I like them.

my father in law has a first gen she likes that but doesn’t like the visibility in the new one.

Frontier sucks with the new engine trans combo I felt it had less power then her 2L 4cyl Elantra. The transmission just kept not wanting to shift I was really disappointed the 4 liter was a nice engine.

Tried the ridgeline decided she didn’t wAnt to park something so large. Looked at a various other few suvs looks like we’re getting the forester.

A wise man will only offer suggestions about which car his wife might like. Then he needs to stand back. Let her pick what she wants. Your job will be to handle the maintenance of HER car.

You know she will only drive it.

BTW, she gets a parking spot in the garage near the door into the house.

The new camry is amazing, I had one for a rental and it was very sporty and I loved the led headlights. If I were to ever buy a sedan, I would seriously consider it

    Mostly dust and dirt.
My advice is to go for the van. Yeah, the Sienna is ugly but the usefulness outweighs the hideousness.
