How should I blow my $500

what sound system would you recommend?

 

Yeah I thought of a bumper upgrade but I don’t want anything to gnarly also I’m a little scared to chop the body. What are some good bumper options?

 

Strip club bud

 

Daily driver with the occasional off roading. I’ve got ratchet straps but don’t have a need for ramps.

 

Scoop hood

 

I personally like and have Pioneer radios/ head units, Focal’s Access line of door speakers/tweeters, and Memphis Audio for the subwoofer duty — complete with dedicated amps/wiring for the doors and subwoofers and a sound processor.

If you want more plug-n-play stuff and less “building” of a custom sound system, I think Oem Audio Plus has great options. They drop right in to Oem wiring and amps, with much improvement over stock speakers.
I’d say Toyota trucks are lacking bass the most, and I don’t even listen to bass centric music particularly.

Edit: just checked Oem Audio Plus website and their subwoofer package starts at $1299... but their full speaker upgrade is $499 and would definitely help the truck produce richer sounds.

Just fill your tank, get some groceries, and pay your internet bill...

 

I’d recommend, depending what you wanna do with your truck-
Dash Cam
@MESO Total Tail lights (or save the money for the v5 mirror turn signals, they look awesome)
Front Camera system, check out @FreshMexicanTaco site for the 2020 kit.
Screen Protech (if you don’t want to scratch the instrument cluster plastic or leave finger prints on radio)
Headed seat kit
Dash Cam
Or save for lift/wheels/tires, or get 255/85/16s for your oem wheels and they should fit without the lift.

 

If you want to continue getting money from your in-laws, might be a good idea to spend some of that money on your wife. Just saying...lol
