I measure 2.5" above my tonneau cover. You could inquire about a higher mount with BillieBars.

 

I agree I think they look way better than the weather techs. I have them in my caddy and find they fit like shit.

 

How do y'all keep your Huskies looking so neat? We got a 4 year old male (brown) that has so much fur we can't keep up with his shedding. He's slowed down just a little with cold weather coming on but his hair and coat look so much fuller than all the pictured dogs. We brush him 2-3 times a week and his hair just seems to re-appear. We live in NC so our weather is mild most of the time so he doesn't like the warmer weather. Our vet tells us they have 3 layers of hair but he just seems so full of hair. I really like the short sleek look of your dogs.

 

Do you use an undercoat brush like a furminator? We used that once weekly when we had dogs with double coats. With our spaniel we only have to monthly. Feeding them a cooked egg yolk once a week is good for their hair health as well.

Weathertech did the same for me.

 

Use a heat gun or even a hair dryer and heat up the adhesive a little and the area it’s sticking to. I use to install them for customers in the winter that was the best way to get them to stick and make sure the area was cleaned up good

 

Filled up and put my @MESO Gas Hole to work.

 

Anybody know torque specs for the Icon 1.5” AAL kit? One person said 55 Fp and another said 82 Fp. I torqued them to 82. I know I’m supposed to re-torque after 100 miles. I procrastinated a few extra hundred and went to loosen them yesterday to add the overload spring back on. Those U bolt nuts we’re almost like hand tight!!!! I want to make sure I have them toques properly so I’m seeking the specs.

I did mine in summer but yeah be sure to used the little scotch brite pad and the alcohol pads in each window. I used a lint free cloth and my own 91% alcohol to clean mine well doing several passes.

 

So the cable slides into the door clip to hang easily. This item IMO is not the best mod.

Somebody here suggested moving the tether one hole to the left. It works much better this way.

Yea I get it. To me I saw a cheap, easy mod that took care of an issue I had on the truck.
