White car is an idiot. Hard to tell if the Taco braked hard or started to turn away from the white car.

I will say this.... Taco driver could have avoided that pretty easily.

 

My thoughts exactly, just wanted to be sure I wasn't crazy. I didn't want to be the only one negative in the FB thread. White car failed to yield for sure, but I feel like the Tacoma Driver was assuming they would stop when they saw him coming and as much as I hate shit drivers, I don't think causing an accident is a good way to go either. It didn't appear as if he would've been unable to stop, or at least slow down significantly.

 

now in the video it just looks like rain but freezing rain also looks like rain on camera so it's possible that stopping would have been difficult, in which case lazily drifting to the left would have averted a crash. Either way, if I'm an insurance adjuster, that's going 50/50. unless a cop witnessed the crash and can testify otherwise.

of course, this is also me being a hard-ass saying that driving test should actually be difficult and we need to easily weed out 25% or more of all drivers on the road as it is.

 

That's true, but I highly doubt the road was that slick with how traveled it looks. Conditions in town weren't too horrible today. A few accidents but normal rain will do that lol. But yeah, giving the benefit of the doubt I agree, I'd say 50/50 if it was slick. It's technically the car's fault but I feel like neither were on top of their game here.

 

Without the video, I would probably go 90/10 cars fault. With the video, 50/50 cuz it really does not look like the taco driver made an effort at all.

Unless there's a witness there to say otherwise.

That was a fun one I think I’ve seen the original series like 3 times lol

 

Once season 6, I wanna say, came around that they were getting into real lore and AI with serious characters I stopped watching. If I wanna see something serious I'll watch something like that. I watch red vs blue for comedy. Lose that and I lose interest. Not having the regular cast already makes me think I won't see the later part of the series.

 

I'm with this too. I could have made a better effort to avoid that since there wasn't another oncoming car to the left.

Conditions around here were definitely not bad like @gasparic104 said, but damn, there were a lot of accidents. I saw one apparently slide off road at night, but heard about others through KCTC that happened in the AM. I'm attributing that to stupid people though.
