Truck: 2019 DCSB, SR5, V6 w/ tow pkg, 40k miles, bone stock (as far as i know). (Im the 2nd owner).

Issue: Can anyone tell me what this button is for / what it does? It is a tiny button that presses in and rotates in both directions. I would describe the "action" of pressing the button as "weak". It has the feel of something used to reset a function, but I can't see that it does anything. Here it is, pictured between the "Off/Door/On Cargo Light Switch", and the "Auto High Beam Switch". [P.S. searched well before posting.]

It looks like something aftermarket. My guess would be a garage door opener?

That was obviously added by the prior owner. Try to follow any wires from it if they are still hooked up. The prior owner may have disabled or disconnected what ever the button operated. Very odd looking button/switch.

I wonder if it’s a trailer brake controller or something?

Probably goes to an aftermarket alarm under the dash

Ok thank you everyone. I just wondered if it could be some weird stock reset button for something, but I guess it is most likely an aftermarket gizmo the original owner put in. I'll chase the wires to see if it is still connected to anything, and probably just take it out. Cheers.

go out to the truck and try something

rather slowly, press 3 times on the key fob

    *lock*

    *lock*
