Planning on taking the family to the snow tomorrow, was planning on hitting up the MET but heard it was crazy traffic jam today. Might scrape that plan and try my luck on the other side of the freeway on the forest hill road toward China wall ohv.

Any info appreciated, thanks and happy holidays

China wall OHV staging area is pass sugar pine road on forest hill road.

There was snow but icy and hard pack. We found a camp area off the road to just hang out. Perfect for the kids, I think going up farther would of produced more snow, but i was the only truck out of the 4 equipped with recovery gear so I didn't wanna risk getting stuck. this weekend should be real nice up there though.

Also there wasn't as much traffic up there compare to the info I got about the MET.
