How do you remove the mat hooks?

    I bought the Tacoma all weather mats from a member on here. The drivers side mat has the hole for the hooks.......the passenger side mat does not. How can I remove the hooks from the passenger side floor board?

    ..... or match the hole location, drill out a hole in the new mat .... hook it in .... it'll stay put ..... that's what I did with some aftermarket rubber mats ... works fine ...

    The problem with that is, if you have Husky floor liners like me, putting a hole in it would defeat the purpose as water would leak through the hole.
