Installed new spiker hood struts, super stoked on how much higher the hood can open now, but realised this may cause issues for putting the 5 lug washer reservoir in later.
    20201230_154344.jpg

Also installed the 4xinnovations super duty transfer case mount. A bit more vibration felt in the cab especially at idle, but it also feels way more solid and I'm thinking going through washboard will feel much nicer now.
    20201230_175818.jpg

And then I tried to clean/ unclog my washer fluid nozzles with no luck, so I ordered some of the Honda Odyssey ones.
    20201230_180256.jpg

And I ordered an eBay dorkel because I had to remove the fender liners with the new 33s, and I've been getting a lot more dust and small rocks in my air filter box.

Also ordered tundra brakes and @turbodb kit to help me stop with the bigger tires. Overall a productive couple of days.

You can warm the fender liners with a heat gun and re-mold them. I did that after doing the pinch weld mod and it worked great. Clear 33's no problem now.

Got my truck aligned today, it’s riding great. Cleaned up the skid plates a little and gave them a coat of flat black, going to put them on later and retorque all the suspension bolts.

Anyone ever make a custom cold air intake. Yes I know the stoc is better but it will no longer fit. Tube needs to be short to clear the shock tower. And what does the rubber tube by the top do?

Stuck my controller up in the headliner. Got a lot of wiring to do now.The control module is getting stuck in the rear cubby.

This is a Federal Signal siren and light controller out of a cop car, but I flashed it to a wrecker/towtruck spec. Disabled all the siren tones. I’ve got five switches on the bottom row dedicated to accessories.

It has a lot of cool features like a PA system and radio rebroadcast, I have it set up to have an aux jack so I can play music out of the siren speaker.

Installed @Tttacodan bed supports today. Followed @chowwwww and installed em backwards to the 2nd gen instructions. The rear of the bed bevels and the supports fits more flush this way.
Now I just need to grab more hardware to fill the missing holes.
    The tailgate finally closes. :D
I’m extremely happy with the product and end result.

Sorry for the crap photos it was late, and they uploaded sideways?

I drove an hour to pick up a $25 toolbox for my truck. One of the top corners was smashed in so I did the hot water trick and rounded a dowel and cut a flap on the inside plastic to access it. Pushed it out and then JB welded the flap back in place. You never know I was in there. Then I went to Home Depot and got all new weatherstripping and Ace Hardware for J hooks. Drilled the bedliner and installed. Fits perfectly. Needs keys so I may have a locksmith rekey but it only holds my tie downs, ratchet straps and jumper cables. Nothing that important or expensive.

Anybody else with the 03-04 throttle bodies having random lack of throttle?

I had just put the cap on and the damn tailgate stopped wanting to shut without having to pull the latch first. You could also see the large gaps from my bed sides pushing away.
Stumbled upon these, snagged a set. Came fast, super easy to install, and work excellently. As the bolts were tightened I got kind of giddy because you can feel the bed side being pulled much more true, Haha

Thanks. I have to get a multimeter to check but I’m not sure if it’s any of this.

I’m not getting any codes and while I’m getting this issue the throttle is still there. I just have to move the accelerator further to get the same amount of throttle. I’m fairly confident that it isn’t limp mode.

The issue is much more prominent in the summer when it’s hot. If I turn the key on and depress the pedal a few times before I the turn the engine on the accelerator is much more sensitive and feels much better. Over a short period of time it sort of drops off and feels a little lazy.

I’ve had this throttle body and the sensors brand new from Toyota for a year. The factory one did the same thing but with other symptoms at idle.
