Happy New Year to everyone!

Recently purchased and installed an Uptop Bravo rack on the Taco and started looking at the 38” Extreme LED x6s lightbar that is supposed to mate up with the rack. So like anyone looking we search stuff that might save us a buck. I came across the following. Just curious what the difference is. Would like to hear some opinions. (Then again maybe not)

    Happy new year to you.

Allow me to present a similar cheap option with reviews. No personal experience though, it's just been in my wishlist:

That said, you generally get what you pay for. Cheap lights are cheap for a reason. I just bought a set of cheap ditch lights because I don't need to light up the night, I just need a little extra spread to find my campsite sometimes.

I would also say that positioning matters. A 32" bar mounted behind the grille is in many ways more effective than the 38 mounted up high. Food for thought.

Whatever your decision, post pictures and reviews!

Thank you for the reply! I am just amazed by the similarities in the specs. I am still debating if I want to put a lightbar up top as I am waiting for a relentless hybrid bumper to arrive that also mates with a Baja design lightbar.
I have just always been curious what the difference was when you look at some of these lights and what the actual output and functions are.

It's honestly tough to say unless someone does an actual comparison. I came close to buying some cheap knockoffs that looked like the BD squadrons. The Amazon listing had them at 40W per light, some reviewers actually broke out their multimeters and measured the consumption at 30W per light. Other lights advertised crazy shit like 12,000 lumens and a visible projection of several thousand meters. I dunno. When going cheap I look carefully at the reviews and see how many other cheap-asses like me are happy with them. That seems to be the way to judge the risk of buying it.

I got that same bar last year for my grill. Light works great, but my only complaint is where they put the wire going in.
