I have a 2012 Tacoma SR5 with 75,000 miles. Today, the traction control light came on and stays on. Then it seemed as if my transmission wasn't shifting well. Is there a connection? Any thoughts on what this could be?

    Thanks

Get it scanned for codes, it probably in limp mode.
You’ll need a scanner capable of pulling ABS codes.

I had the truck looked at and it was the air injection pumps and/or air switching valves due to moisture/water in the air injection pumps and/or air switching valves. There is a Toyota customer service recall on this exact thing. So, I was able to be fully refunded by Toyota.

My god this SAIS is like a cancer on these trucks. Seems everybody at some point even with
low mileage will find themselves in the taco-hospital. With this tumor of PITA size.
The doctor is working for free as well.
