Does the TRD Sport manual have the clutch start cancel feature?

Does the TRD Sport manual have the clutch start cancel feature? If not, is it an easy order, plug and play?

 

Yes, my 2018 had it.
Never used it other then for remote start function.

Sweet. I see it being useful if I decide to drive in Seattle where you find yourself at stop lights on steep hills with a car inches behind you.

 

You wont need it for that because the Sport is also set up where it holds the brakes for a few seconds after you take your foot off the brake pedal.

 

If I'm on a steep hill and very limited space like parallel parking, just pull the handbrake and release when ready

 

hill assist. basically what shaker said. you hold the brake on any hill or incline and when youre ready you can let off the brake and the truck will standfast giving you time to do what you need to do; i think its about 3 or 4 seconds. as for clutch start cancel, its there. useful feature for sure.

 

My 2019 sport has it , that’s the only way it would start after the
Clutch pedal tsb was done .
