Appreciate the kind words. I'm a heavy duty mechanic by trade, and used to love being able to stay in the shop after hours to go wild with all tools at my disposal. Projects take a little more consideration now that everything is funded and supplied by yours truly, but I love having something to do with my hands. All the better when I get to create something that lands in the center of the Venn diagram of "form" and "function".

    Cheers.

After a rousing afternoon at the park, my co-driver settled in to supervise the install of some puddle pods. As with all the other Meso products, fit and finish is top-notch. I was leery about removing the door panels, but that proved to be the easiest part. Fishing the harness through the door/cab boots was a few four letter words.

Very pleased with the outcome. Some people have commented that puddle lights are gimmicky, but it's a feature I absolutely love, and I consider the cost/time investment to be well worth it.

Edit: I've seen it before, but before I search - does anyone have the link for the little white clips for the interior panel over the mirrors? COMPLETELY unrelated..

    Double-edit: Found 'em.

I’ll edit with a link tomorrow, but if you search “Toyota door molding clip” you’ll see it right quick.

Did this a few days ago in the windy and cold 20deg morning. Took the advice of @dilbert on how to better fasten my @mattgecko canopy lights.
Maybe I could have waited until it was warmer and then the clear heat shrink would have been more pliable.
Also added a nicer weather resistant quick disconnect.

It is in CA, somehow my package got stuck in GA for the past week. Called Taco Garage yesterday and they blamed it on the holiday rush, said there isn't a problem yet.

I ordered the same thing again and I'll bet my stimulus check that the second order arrives first.

realistically 2020 was only the beginning of a
downward spiral. 2021 can only be worse.

Removing the gross clear film on my hood today! Going to be a pain to pull this things off then get all of the adhesive off.
