I'm not a big wheeler. Have a 4x4 for backcountry hunting roads. Every now and then, as recommended, I run it in H4 for a small stretch to keep things moving. Today, after I switched from H4 back to H2, it feels like I'm getting a vibration that I can feel through my gas pedal every few seconds. Seems like something may not have disengaged. When I switch back to H4, it's gone. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Maybe try reversing a bit after switching back to h 4?

Are you switching while stopped? If so you might try switching at about 5-10 mph.

These trucks are drive by wire so there’s no mechanical linkage in the gas pedal to vibrate. Is the vibration felt anywhere else in the driver footwell?

Thanks guys. I've tried the suggestions and the problem persists. I've taken some more time to better assess the situation. The vibration is felt in the floorboard and steering wheel. It is only felt in H2. If you feel it and immediately switch to H4, it disappears. If you switch back to H2, it re-appears. It is a vibration, but borders on being a stronger "shudder" that appears to be rotational. It's most prevalent at around 30 MPH. Any other ideas?

Since I had so much free today, I've done a lot of reading, and I'm 99.9% sure it's the needle bearing. Thanks

^^This^^ I noticed mine doing this yesterday. Took it off road Tuesday and now 2wd its a light vibration under my feet. :annoyed:...it's not constant but feels like every 150 ft at 40 mph I can feel it like 20ft. Then repeats.
