I order the “tacomabeast” headlights and I what to switch them to leds and I haven’t found much treads on the subject. I just want to know what people have and what have worked for them. I know it will void the warranty and not much people don’t like them I just want to know what leds people are using in theirs and what works!

Thanks for the input. Has anyone tried hids? Did they melt the housing? My old truck I retro fitted them and just don’t want to have to do that again so that’s why I bought these vs $1200 headlights.

I don't know if those are aftermarket headlights or what but those are REALLY bad aims.
These are stocks. Low beam. Stock height. LEDs from VLEDS h11 Micro. Even when I had the Hikari ultras weren't that bad. I couldn't stand the stock headlights. I changed my work truck to these. Huge difference and no blinding oncoming. Never got flicked.

These don't fit your taco 2005. What area are you from?

Tacomabeast is a terrible retailer and those lights are a waste of money.

What I've learned is never fuck around with anything while it's under warranty. These are not very reliable.

Too many mods and I haven't even started yet..
Your headlights are aimed way too low. A good gauge is to have the cutoff a little below the horizon as you can see in Boosted_Carrera's post. Your headlights should be illuminating down the road, not just immediately in front of your truck. Aimed properly you'll see things like the cyclist far sooner and will still have your cutoff below most driver's eyes.

What LEDs are those? Are they aimed correctly? This has been the complete opposite of my experience with LEDs vs stock and I even posted a thread on it.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/headlight-revolution-s-v-4-led-review.695576/

There is also the headlight mega thread, which someone else also posted.

Check out the mega thread on LEDs, HIDs, and halogens. HIDs have higher light outputs, but I believe the consensus is they produce more glare too. There's a lot more detail on the mega thread, but basically it has to do with the position of where the light is being emitted. The housings are designed for the halogen filament. Some LEDs do a good job at mimicking this position, but none are exactly perfect. HID uses gas and thus, the entire bulb acts as the filament which is nowhere near the correct size, and thus placement, to be properly effective. Not to mention the additional wiring necessary to add them in the first place.

My old Tacoma i had was a 2005 and I retro fitted those headlights I just don’t want to do it again on my 2019 so I bought these headlights considering they don’t cost 1200 bucks and I don’t have to take the time to retro fit them

its the stock halogens and they work better than the LEDs I briefly installed

I meant, what LEDs are those? Stock isn't great to begin with, but certain LEDs can make the output far worse, especially if not aimed right.

For the time being, I'd adjust those up a bit.

You'll need some reference. Park behind a car some 20ft back or a wall.
Not sure if yours is lifted but easiest is measure from ground to center headlights then mark a reference on a wall...then adjust. I'd hate to hear you get into an accident man .
