+1 for Vancouver Toyota. Got mine there also. Emily was super easy to work with and very friendly.

My local NW dealer vote goes to Gresham Toyota. Vancouver Toyota could never even come close to a good deal for me and they wouldn’t match a price I got from a dealer up north. I talked to a salesman at Gresham Toyota and they not only beat the price I had gotten, but the truck also came with additional extras.

A 2wd 94 Ford ranger with well over 250k miles on it  What sliders are you going with? I’m going to go with a C4 front bumper and probably matching sliders, but cashing out on some accutuned fox’s is first priority.

Let me chime in here for a second since I’ve bought 4 vehicles from Gresham Toyota between me and the wife...

The first two vehicles I ever bought from them I had good transactions with them nothing but great things to say... the last two transactions I won’t say were horrible but have driven me away from them as a car sales dealership I still get parts from them like filters and stuff like that because they are the closest but my next truck won’t be from them no matter what.

That should be a great suspension. I'll be doing something less expensive to start with, but long term I really want some Fox 2.5s.

My sliders will be shipping out soon...Westcott Designs out of AZ. Check them out. Not as well known, but I have high hopes.

I like the C4, but I have reservations about them due to the kick out design. If you need to use them for sliding past a rock/tree/stump on your kickout, and then you need to back up.... might not work out so good.

Would definitely recommend the Fox 2.5’s.. I went 2.5 up front and 2.0s in the back and even though I haven’t wheeled with them yet I’m super happy with the ride on them so far.

That's good to hear. I don't want to spend that much right now, but it's part of my long term plan.

I hadn’t looked into the C4 sliders much, but that looks like a major flaw in design. The Westcott ones look good! Might be considering those. Everything I do on my truck I want to do once and not have to mess with it again.

I agree with doing it once and done! However, I need to be financially responsible for the time being

I consider completely draining my savings (piggy bank included) multiple times a day on truck parts. I just need to pace myself and my spending. I’m also doing almost all the work myself and working 50+ hours a week doesn’t leave a lot of time.

New to the Group. Upgraded a year ago from a 2002 extended cab Tacoma and just put fresh suspension and the bumper and winch on this guy. Definitely want to get in on the next trail run!

Just came across this group. I'm near Vancouver Washington and actually have a quick question regarding the midland 3db ghost antenna. I originally bought the lip mount to secure to my hood but since have figured that to be a bad idea as I'm not trying to damage my paint.

Any mounts that would mount it up there? Looked all over the internet and can't seem to find anything.

Thanks in advance and looking forward to hopefully wheeling with some of you before too long.

Welcome in. Not sure on the antenna. Someone else here might be able to help, though.

Just in case you didn’t know...

Lolo is a good group of guys. Maybe if your looking to buy something start looking there first. Not saying they are the most cost effective but they are local in Troutdale
