Hey guys - I'm getting some new wheels for my 2nd gen 2008 tacoma and wanted to know where is the best place to get them mounted to my existing tires. Before the haters jump in, they're low mileage tires I only have 11,000 miles on them and have an 80,000 mile warranty so want to get some more use out of them before upgrading to AT tires. with COVID I did not put many miles on her over the last year. I have a lifetime alignment package with Firestone so would it be best to get them done there? do you need an alignment after getting new wheels mounted on existing tires? What do you ask for in something like this (sorry never had new wheels before). do you just say hey I have some new wheels and want them mounted ? obviously i'll just carry home my TRD Sport wheels in the bed of the truck to store or sell. Just wanted to know what most people are doing who get this done for the best deal and price available. thanks guys!

Wheels i'm getting (pic below) are the FN Fx pro wheels in gloss dark gunmetal. (They are backordered right now so there's a wait and i'm just planning). Doing this in stages with probably wheels first... then lift and probably mount some new AT tires at that time as well.

Just go to your local or favorite tire shop. Tell them what you want. They can do the work, but you will need to pay.

Be sure to swap the TPMS sensors from the current wheels to your new wheels. You should also verify the current sensors will fit the new wheels, if not, then you will need new sensors. If new sensors are needed, the shop can program the truck to read the new sensors.

Tacoma World covers a lot of territory. You want new wheels mounted & balanced. Call around local for pricing. It's really that simple, don't make it rocket surgery.
