    Not sure if this is the right forum, but my bed mat for my Tacoma is great, except when someone's skin touches it. Whatever touches it becomes black. gear doesn't seem to be affected, just skin.
    - Can I scrub it or wash it or something?
    - If I get a new mat do you have recommendations?

    Did you wash it with something acidic or caustic or spill something on it? It sounds like the rubber (or whatever it is) is breaking down with the oils in your skin.
