Is there a way to achieve this setting?

Kinda annoying how it shuts off and you have to go back into accessory mode to get the music back on.

My wife’s Jeep keeps the music on until I open up the door and I’m pretty sure my old BMW was the same way?

in my truck one short click from on and the motor stops while the music keeps running. two clicks and it kills all accessories. mine is a MT and no Entune, wonder if that matters.

I have a 19 OR AT. If I click the push start once it shuts off engine and all electronics.

I read this somewhere on the forum so I don’t take credit but if you leave the truck in gear, R, N, or D, then hit the start button, and then put it in park, the radio will stay on. I do this quite often without a problem.

This is the correct procedure. Borrowed from an old thread. Used this at the local drive in many times. But I just kept it in neutral with ACC on.

    (1) Stop the car at whatever location you so desire, and keep your foot on the brakes
    (2) Take the car out of Drive and put it into Neutral (N)
    (3) Push the Power button
    (4) The egine goes off and you're automatically set to ACC mode
    (5) Now you can put it in Park (P) and still have your electronic stuff running

Having a key and no push button start is probably the difference there.

I concur with the above. Neutral, off, park.

    Because.

Do 3rd Gen headlights stay on until the door is opened like on 2nd Gens?
If so could the power wire be moved to that control circuit?

Because sometimes I chill in my truck for a few minutes before I get out and would rather not have to turn off the truck, turn on the electric, and then turn that off again to continue to listen music.

After the truck is parked and off hit the start button twice without your foot on the brake pedal

Yes, they do. Once you open the door, they stay on for another minute or so. I don't know about the wiring though but would be interested to hear if someone tries it.

I think OP knows that, but it's more a matter of not having it interrupted. If you're listening to something on the radio or via bluetooth, the entire thing gets interrupted with that process. 1st world problems though
