Man, that's rough. I definitely recommend buying from them if you can. I bought my Maxtrax there instead of ordering online.

Damn that really sucks that they lost all that, I'll definitely look at them always good to help local business especially ones that take a big hit like this one.

I drove by that fire on my way into town yesterday. I didn't realize it was Josh's place till I saw his post on instagram and put the 2+2 together. Hopefully His insurance makes him whole again.

I always get a hunting fishing shellfish combo, discover pass, I have a lifetime washington and federal parks pass from my time in the army. But that's a bout it this is my first year with an off road capable vehicle (left the ex wife and started living like I wanted to) so any suggestions on what else to get lemme know.

I agree with enjoying life and getting out and enjoying the great outdoors. Fortunately I can pay those fees and fishing and hunting license for the family. I also think about other friends and family who can’t afford to pay the other fees to enjoy the outdoors a little more.

It’s not cheap, that’s for sure - I just got my sportsman’s pac for the year. At least the money is going to good use though, was listening to a MeatEater podcast that broke down how DFW’s across the country get their funding.

Tough after dec 1 because a bunch of them turn into snowmobile and cross county ski trails

I would start by looking online to see which ones are open to trucks first...

Just past the snow bunny parking lot, on the right side of the road (driving eastbound) there’s a road. You’ll definitely need something snow and Offroad capable though and there’s lots of idiots that’ll be stuck. I drove down about 2 miles in my truck with just 265/70/17 at full tire pressure (35psi). Definitely needed to use 4L and did get stuck momentarily twice. Once while turning around and once when driving around a vehicle that was stuck. I buried myself, but was able to back up enough to get another run at it and hit a different rut. I went with a buddy in his Jeep and we had straps, and shovels. I believe the chevron in government camp has air, but I’d check beforehand. Be safe, have fun, don’t go alone, and always turn around if you’re uncomfortable.

Where is this? Trillium is the next road on the right past snow bunny.
