Soundproof fail- any advice?

    Low frequency sound is difficult to manage.

    I worked in the industrial air compressor industry. Sound was a problem. The low frequencies have the longest wavelength requiring thicker sound absorption material. We typically needed 6" thick sound form to control the low frequencies.

    It may be more effective to identify the source of the low frequency and attack it at the source.
