Looks awesome. I ordered rim and tires a couple months back. Same tire size. Still waiting for them due to massive delays. Here’s my question to you. How much does this tire size effect the speedometer? Thanks so much.

 

Falken 265/75r16 SL, bilstein 5100 fr & rear. 1" fr lift.

 

just lifted it.

5100s all around with OME 887 coils and a Deaver single aal. 265/75s look great with added 2 inches.

Yes! No complaints. I prefer a more "sturdy" ride in my trucks. This is my first Tacoma, but I've owned a F150 4dr 4x4 with 285s and an F250 SD with 305s, so I'm more than ok with the feel. Tomorrow, I'm going to have a 2inch level kit added...then I'm done.

 

She’s pretty. Almost went 285s. Glad I didn’t.

 

Now with BFG 265/75r16 KO2s, pro grill and 2 inch level complete, she's FINALLY done!!

 

Mounted up some Michelin Defenders, 265/75-16 with my old Konig FN Countersteers, 4lbs lighter for each wheel assembly than stock wheels/tires. Running 6112/5160 Bilsteins.

 

Nice ride. The wheels look like they belong.
Center caps would add a lot of visual appeal!!
I notice the bed box. I like the idea. I would like to find one for mine, that sits below the bed-rails.

Thanks, It is my third Taco.. had over 430,000 miles combined on the other two I've owned.. frame rust did both of them in. The Michelin Defenders actually do OK for mild offroad aired down to 15 psi, they just don't look the part. Have been all over Moab and the San Juans in CO with them. Just did 1200 miles of all off-road in UT and CO with my old Taco last fall using the Michelin Defenders. If I was going to spend an entire summer offroad with the Taco and camping, I'd buy dedicated offroad tires just for the trip. I also haul my motos (Husky FE501 and MV Agusta Turismo Veloce) and do alot of highway miles driving to/from the mountains from the midwest (2500+ plus miles per trip). The FE501 makes my Taco look like a joke for actual capability of traveling at speed offroad which makes it difficult to not ride that in the dirt unless I'm taking a woman along.

Last fall with the Michelin pavement pounders at a couple of the 8 passes I did. You can always check the sidewalls to know how rocky the trails were. This Taco had 209,000 on it when these photos were taken.
