Installed the fronts with a lean spacer on Monday, and the rears with the eibach 1” block on Tuesday, probably about 2.5 hours total.

First couple days the front was sitting at about 2.75” over stock, and I had about half an inch of reverse rake. But after driving all week and putting some miles on it the fronts have settled to about 2-2.25” and i have about .25” of rake. The fronts are dead even left to right with the 1/4” lean spacer.

I’m going to switch the block for the headstrong aal being that’s what I originally wanted but they where sold out. May even consider a single aal but I need to do some more research.

Well it’s finally almost time! Just need to get the struts assembled Monday, order my tires and set an alignment appointment for the following week and hope everything goes smooth.

Wanted to chime in with my review of the Eibach setup after ~5,000 miles. I installed with second clip, and still am very pleased with going that route. I was concerned it would be too stiff (I don't have a bumper or armor), but overall my suspension feels great. No front end diving at stop lights like the soft TRD Off-Road shocks did. With the recent snow in the PNW, I feel this suspension is getting worked more and is getting softer (but it may be in my head). I still should upgrade my UCA's, but overall recommend second clip to anyone.

Can anyone confirm that you don’t need to install the sway bar relocation kit anymore? I thought I remember reading something from the eibach guy that use to frequent here saying you don’t need to do it anymore since they changed something around. TIA.

I believe that’s on pre 2016 models. It says on the kit package.

It’s still recommended on their current kits for 3rd gen Tacomas

Since I’m waiting for my back ordered Eibach kit, I’m wondering if someone can chime in here and tell me if what I have ordered will work for what I want.

I am planning on installing front on 2nd setting, rear with 2.5” tapered blocks, with new UCA’s, on new 265/75/16 Faulken Wildpeaks. What I’m looking to achieve, is some rake like factory, because I carry a 120 lb RTT from spring thru fall, and occasionally two 10’ kayaks. Nothing too heavy.

I also have 1” blocks and 1.5” tapered sitting at home, in case 2.5” is too much. I’m wondering if someone can chime in that has found the sweet spot on this kit at the 2nd setting in front and still maintain factory rake. I have the 2020 TRD OR DCLB.

    thanks in advance

1.5" tapered will get you at level or a tad bit-o-rake, 2.5" will prob. give you 1" if not not a bit more.

If your going to carry weight you should stay away from blocks and go with an add-a-leaf or leaf pack.

Here’s how my 2019 sits with the Eibach lift on the first notch and Headstrong AALs. I’ve only driven like 200 miles since installed. This was just after playing around in the hills behind our house. Such a huge difference between these and my 3/2 spacer lift I had on it before.

If u don't have armour on the front I would stay at the 1st notch and enjoy the better ride.

That was recommendation of Tanner at Eibach. I’m going to go for it and see. Plus, I ordered new UCA’s for the install.

    thx
