Hey everyone. Brand new Taco owner here.

Apologies if this is a super simple fix or something already discussed (I couldn't find anything in the forums), but I want to make the USB under the head unit into 2 separate ports. One for phone connection and one for a flash drive with mp3s.

Is this feasible? Would the system be able to read both simultaneously (i.e. using maps on phone and playing mp3s from flash)?

Is it as simple as swapping out with something like this? https://www.amazon.com/Socket-Charger-4Runner-Highlander-Cruiser/dp/B07QH653SQ/

I appreciate any and all help. Feel free to call me a basic bitch for not knowing something so simple, but I'm just trying to learn!

And the thing you liked to only provides power, not data. It doesn’t actually connect to the radio at all

Thank you, brother. I was afraid of that. Should've opted for the built in nav I guess.
