This truck presents few mounting points for a pistol. I don’t want to do the “under steering wheel” mount. The center console around the shifter is only about an inch tall and the trans hump comes way out from it, so that’s a no-go. My wife got me a magnet mount but there’s no place good to put it.
No- I don’t store my pistol in the car- this is only for while I’m driving. 1 to access it quickly, and 2 for comfort.

    Any suggestions and pics?
    Thanks in advance

I just lay mine on the passenger seat. If I have a passenger I simply drop it into the door pocket. Also, it is a whole lot more intimidating when you rack it on the steering wheel, too. Plus I have my CC on me as well.
