    Road centric?

Yes, it's possible they were not balanced correctly.

Haweka and Coats make Toyota-specific adapters. Both have fitted collets and square-shoulder pins that mimic the way it's mounted on the vehicle.

Some techs claim not to need them.
Some techs are ignorant of them.
    Some shops don't buy them.

Or....you got a bad tech or tires.

If he is using factory 17 inch rims , there is a possibility of needing hub centric rings as well

I agree with Split mind you . Using the proper adapters when road force balancing really helps
Sometimes you gotta rotate the tire 45 degrees at a time . It can be very time consuming for the guy trying to get a good balance . Most of the time , tire techs just throw a bunch of sticky weights at the rim and call it a day .
A lot of complaints trying to balance up KO,s on Tacoma World

    What psi?
Should be 37 psi for the new tire.

Thanks for the feedback, sure enough the tires were not balanced correctly the weights they used in the rear were shiny metal and the front were the black ones. When I returned the truck they spent a long time rebalancing them . So now success, I did notice they replaced the shiny metal ones with the black squares. Terry from santa cruz

Using a tire/wheel runout gauge, its pretty simple, max allowable side play is 50 thousandths and runout of tread is same, max of 50 thousandths allowable, past that it cannot be balanced.
