Wanna do mine next just need to make a bracket to hold batter tray under bed, build mini skid/shield, route cables, mount junction block for power leads.

Added some hood pins and now she’s rock solid. Was a bit of a pita getting it all lined up but I’m glad it’s done.

Cool deal on the battery term kit, guys. I’d love a cordless wire crimper. But of a price $1500 up.... not this guy. There is no way in hell I’d ever recoup the monies spent unless l started building kits for sale. Might be picking up a hydraulic one in the next few weeks myself. Have found a few that might fit the bill for under a buck fiddy.

 

Ask @ilubtimmyhos which crimper he has. I’ve borrowed it before and it worked great and I think it was only around $50.

 

Rite rite. I’ve found one with about 15 dies in it. From 00 (2/0) down to the smaller sizes. Also has 6 half sizes. I’ll shoot him a message if I can remember.

I have both of those. If you were to only get one, I would get the one from Harbor Freight. You can be kind of limited in hammer swinging range.

Shoulda seen me trying to use that thing to crimp my OEM battery cables while they were still attached to the truck. The battery is not a good hammering surface.

 

This makes sense coming from the guy running potts with nerf bars.
