    Hey gents

I swapped out my radiator last night and shortly later with the truck running noticed that transmission fluid was leaking onto the ground I got under the truck over the truck took some pics and videos and realize it looks like it's leaking from with one of the top most lines and possible around the connections at the bottom of the radiator. The brass lines as well as the rubber hoses and clamps all loom fine. Here's the problem

My hero neighbor sees me working and likes to come offer help in which case last night I figured I could use it as long as he followed the instructions with me in the repair guide. Of course when o decided to break and told him to take 5 he proceeded without me and Besides not plugging up the atf lines before disconnecting wasting ATF from an enclosed system, I'm not sure if these connections are 100% correct.

Below is the line I know is leaking it's the top most line that was disconnected and reconnected to this point on the new Duralast radiator. The second pic is from underneath the truck where there's that nice fresh drip forming. I adjusted the position of the clamp on the top to its original by following its indent left on the Hose which is still leaking as I can see it leaking down when the truck is started. Thanks guys

Routing looks correct to me, you need to clean it off and determine if the leak is a pinhole in the hose, clamp not holding tight enough, or the fitting in the radiator itself. You may just need to put a regular worm drive type clamp on there and do away with the spring clamp or replace that section of hose.

It looks like the leak is forming underneath the brass nut that is attached to the new radiator. I'm guessing that doesn't loosen or tighten? Also, is there a specific spot at the connection where the spring clamp should be? Does it matter where on the brass feed of the radiator where the clamp should be? Farthest it can connect toward the radiator or towards the far end where the brass feed ends? Hope that makes sense I will start with a new clamp tomorrow I'm just trying to make sure when I do
I put it in the correct position.
    Thanks again

Gents I used a couple of worm clamps in the squeeze clamps' stead and I may still have a leak at the top of that hose where it meets the top of the radiator. Can I purchase a hose or two precut to fit that length instead of buying the entire line? The brass looks great no leaks etc. I'm wondering if the hose itself was damaged.

also wondering how tight these new clamps should be fastened to that hose.
    Thanks again in advance

    Mark
