More headroom for the driver, lower hood, keep it overall as small as possible and improve exterior styling. Stay true to original Toyota truck concept.

Diesel, a panoramic glass roof, and a rear window that slides completely down like the Tundra.

I’ve said for years that that is what the Pro should have. That would actually make it worth the $$$.

If they put a V8 in there you can bet the price would go up at least another $5k.

4.6l would work for me with a truck bed and a shell. Nice tow vehicle, commuter and standalone camper. Versatile. 4.7l works fine in a 4Runner, 16 mpg in town.

Honestly my 3.5 works fine for me. Ive towed boats and cars with it without issue. But I live in North Texas which is mostly flat. If I had to tow up and down grades or towed every day id want a larger truck entirely.

The big deal for me is altitude. I start at 5600 ft and never go lower until I reach Las Cruces on the south, St George on the west. I need a strong engine to compensate.

    OK but speed? 0-60?

I love diesels for towing, but they’re not tuned for speed. Plus if Toyo thought they could make money selling a diesel, they’d already offer them in the US.

    I think slap a turbo on a V6–3.0L—and call it a day.

What you have done for mankind shall stand as a testament to the human spirit. I'm actually in disbelief. How did I not see this before!? Video I just found in an attempt to confirm your findings:

This makes me wonder why someone would buy one of the aftermarket gas cap holders. Next time I see someone at the pump with one I'm going to be like "hey ignorant slut, you look like a fool right now"

I think I’ve read elsewhere that 80% of the braking is with the front wheels, the rear brakes only contribute 20% (and prevent rear sliding). Not sure if this is true (seems true based on my experience with bicycles LOL).

I’ve never had any issues with braking.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
Can you imagine a "comfort" option that includes a built-in single serve Keurig and an insulated Yeti mug in the dash? I'd be in.

And the first post on TW would be a "anytime coffee maker" mod because the factory settings won't allow it to work while in drive.

My main beefs right now are sluggish towing performance, though I’m used to it by now and realize it’s a compromise for speed and MPG.

And MPG—would like to see much better fuel economy.

That’s why I think a 3.0L twin turbo would be a great idea. My X3 with that engine made 305 HP and got MPG in the mid-20’s. It had a pretty good tow rating, as I recall, though I never towed with it.

Oh, also would like to see an AWD option. I seem to recall the Chevy Avalanche having AWD vs 4WD or 4WDLo. Driving in town in the snow is a pain in the rear with 4WD.

V6 turbodiesel, steel bed supports across both frame rails encapsulating bed mounting bosses, USB dash ports, authentic Toyota OEM towing mirror option.

I guess I am the guy you can call “ignorant slut” because I like the cap holder I purchased.
I still think Toyota should step up and put one on the Tacoma

didn’t like that, so I got something that Toyota should of had standard on the Tacoma, so number 7 stays

How great would it be if they put the volume and next/previous buttons in the correct spot on the steering wheel. Also, how about a fast charger USB? Ditch the stupid Qi that doesn't ever work especially if your phone has a case. Add a driver side "oh shit" handle and its the best vehicle on the planet.
