Initial impression, I like the ergonomic aluminum handle, and it is a good blade steel. Action feels nice, though weirdly it retracts a tad stronger than it comes out. Not much blade play and no loose spring sounds. Switch isn't too hard to use but don't feel as if it will go off in my pocket. Time will tell but it seems like a nice knife. Also, I read online to make sure you loctite the screws as it doesn't come with loctite from the factory and they sometimes come loose.

An Ohio pig farmer had me build him a new butchering blade based on his old one. Needed a handle that wouldn't get slick when bloody. So I used peel ply g10, forged the blade from one of my favorite steels, 8670. Very basic, but he did 6 hogs in one day and didn't have to sharpen the blade once.

I bought them because of the odd laser cut.

One of my newer favorites. A little on the heavy side but well built.
