Never used Plasti Dip before very impressed with the results. I'm curious of the long term longevity of it but only time will see.

Looks good man. The plastidip on my grille bezel held up for a year and wouldve lasted longer but i put a pressure washer right up to it at the car wash. So as long as u dont do that it should last more than a year

    Traded it in.
Looks good! The Plasti dip on my hood scoop held up great since I put it on back around April and the truck has never seen a garage and gets washed regularly. So I feel like the stuff holds up to the elements pretty well.

I'm glad to see people testifying to it's durability. Luckily I don't use car wash's because of my C.B antenna but it is parked outside. I put 5 coats on 30 minutes in between and kept the can in warm as well as shaking it for a minute when painting so results look great for my first time.

My grease gun dripped on the grille and did that. Easy touch up with their liquid electrical tape.

I need to do the flares and chin, esp with the scratches on my right side ones. Derp'ed my grille 2.5yrs ago. Still looking great.

Looks good! Do you have a before pic?

Wonder how that would work on the bed. Probably not very well given the responses in this thread

Here is the best before pic I have with the fenders in it. Yeah its a thin rubber paint similar to a wrap. If I didn't have a plastic oem composite bed I would LINE X it. Super strong and made from plastic not rubber.

I plasti dipped my wheels on an older Toyota and it held up for years. Even weathered the salt in the Midwest winters. Should be good for a while

I did this exact thing awhile back, although it looks really good when you first put it on, over time it will start to look faded and dirty. No matter how many times you wash it. I had to peel it all off because it was starting to look like crap. Lasted a few months. Found a pic when I had just applied it. Looked really nice.

I will just also add that it looks great at first but it does not look great over the long haul. Plus, if you spill any gas on the back fender, even a drip, oh boy, it's not good.
