I’m trying to figure out the lift on this truck for sale, my one question is if this is stock cross member or am I dealing with an aftermarket lift 4-6”, looks to me the truck is 3-4” so wondering if the cross member was swapped out or not thanks! Truck has 35” tires

That's aftermarket. I can't tell which one it is from the pic, but that's a drop bracket lift. Considering it's paired with (really nice) aftermarket control arms and coilovers, if it rides nice, I wouldn't let the drop bracket be a deterrent.

People like to shit on drop bracket lifts but when done right, they're fine. This one appears to be done right. Seeing as the front is lifted fairly high, I would peek at the back as well. See if they cut corners and just threw some lift blocks on or if they did it right and replaced the leafs.

It actually doesn't look lifted that tall at all... those cv angles are pointing up to the hub at ride height. If the Fox coilovers have reservoirs, thats a good setup, no need to worry

That uca angle is fucky. It shouldn’t be up above the coil over bucket.

Maybe just the picture angles these are pics the dealer sent. You think I should stay away?

Would a more compatible spring be better or not matter whatsoever?

So a 4-6" fox 2.5 coilover is a lot longer than the standard 0-3". I wonder if those coilovers have a really short spring, little to no up travel, which is why it looks almost fully compressed.

I was wondering that as well, or if it’s just an oem coilover in there, which would be a little wild.

If the OP can get some shock length measurements I could reveal that answer. At ride height, need to know the shock length. Wouldn't hurt to get spring length either. Either way, looks like it needs some adjustments to work properly with that drop bracket setup.

Well I’m 2 hours away from this truck, was debating going Saturday to look at it. I’m on the fence to make the trip so I wanted a few honest opinions if this lift is a worry or not and something that would deter me from buying

very well could be a 0-3” coilover. Owner got some coilovers to replace the strut and spacer without realizing the ones for 6” lifts are longer

If that is the case, its not a long enough shock (too much shaft showing and nearly topped out). If it is the correct shock, its not lifted tall enough (little shaft showing and zero up travel)

Valid. As you mentioned earlier, spring off a 3” coilover on a 6” coilover could be case also.
