Water leaking from body bushing

    I've got a strange leak from behind the passenger front wheel, looks like plain water. It leaks enough to leave a puddle. We did get some heavy rain last week. My guess is I have water trapped somewhere, and when after tilting the vehicle just right, it comes dribbling out. I certainly don't want something rusting from the inside out. 2007 xrunner, V6 manual.

    Are you sure it's not condensation from the A/C drain?

    I agree. Probably condensate from A/C.

    Now that you mention it, I have been running the defroster. I haven't looked deeper back to see if the compressor was wet. Or looked to see if it's on the passenger side, or if it engages when running the defroster.

    If you have your A/C controls set to Defrost or Floor/Defrost then the A/C is on regardless of whether the button is on or not unless you've done the mod to cancel A/C with defrost.

    Hmm . . . none as yet, that's why i'm here . . .
    You said 'I certainly don't want something rusting from the inside out' you do know you have a Tacoma?
